Quilting Service
I own a Handi Quilter Moxie long-arm machine which I use to finish quilts, When you can spent so much time making a beautiful patchwork top, the task of basting and quilting on your domestic machine may cause a delay in finishing your quilt. I offer a quilting service where I can quilt your quilt for you.
Simply post your quilt top and backing to me, we can discuss any questions you or I may have and we can agree quilting and price and agree a deposit.
The backing needs to be 4” larger on ALL four sides than the top, – If the quilt top is 60” x 70”, the backing fabric needs to be 68” x 78”.
I have created a checklist below for some extra reading before you post your quilt to me.
I can supply batting if you are not supplying your own.
I quilt your beautiful quilt.
I send photos of the process.
When it's all complete and the balance paid I will post your quilted quilt back to you, to its forever home..

How will it be quilted?
I use a free motion technique to finish your quilt which can be a simple pattern, complicated or a completely customised.
Please contact me so we can find the best fit for your quilt.
How long will it take?
You will be given an estimated delivery time, however if there are a lot of quilts being processed this time may be longer.
Please book ahead if there is a date you don't want to miss.
Price
The three items to consider are Quilting, batting and postage.
Basic quilting starts from 2c per square inch
Measure the area of your quilt in inches.
Calculate the length x the width.
Multiply this by 0.02 to find the cost for quilting.
I can supply batting, I have 90'' 70/30 eco batting. It is a blend of 70% recycled cotton and 30% recycled polyester. and a very reasonable price of €18 per yard.
Postage: It will cost to post your quilt to me and there will be a return fee.
